When travelling by car, I’m usually the driver and am therefore limited in my ability to photograph. Recently, a friend offered to drive, and I was able to enjoy, and photograph, some early evening winter fog that was rolling in as the sun began to set. Apologies to Joni Mitchell, but we were half a million seven hundred thousand strong today in the streets of Seattle. The Seattle Seahawks held their Superbowl victory parade and a crowd equal to the city of Detroit’s entire population showed up on a cold, sunny day to celebrate.
