I am very pleased to announce that through the generosity of a number of people, donations totaling $1,171.50 were made to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance’s Patient and Family Assistance Fund in honor of my summer photo exhibition, “To See Things New”. As a thank you gift to those who donated, I had Printability, a nonprofit organization dedicated to placing people with disabilities in the workplace, press custom coffee mugs with the following images from the show.

Twilight, Astoria-Megler Bridge, 2011

Sunset, Shilshole Bay, 2012
Since the exhibition, I have also donated four prints to charitable auctions. The following two images two images were auctioned off to benefit Rain City Rock Camp for Girls.

Kenny Loggins, 2010

Derek Sharp, The Guess Who, 2011
And these two images will be going up for auction in my office this December.

A Sacred Tradition, 2011

Sunrise, Pier 66, 2012
It brings me great pleasure to be able to put my images to work in the name of raising funds for charitable causes. I have donated my time and services to a number of nonprofit organizations over the years, but being able to select images from my personal portfolio in support of charity opens up another way for me to give back. I have a few additional fundraising ideas that I am hoping to implement in 2014 and will keep you posted as they progress.
